Gerald Edward Sutton

Gerald Edward Sutton, 88 of Dover passed away May 27, 2023.
Born in Coxsackie, New York, he was the son of Russell, Sr and Irene Sutton.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Alice Joy Sutton.
His survivors include son, Gerard Sutton (Nina); siblings, Janet Pratt, Norman Sutton, Dale Sutton (Nancy), David Sutton (Mary); one grandchild, Amber Sutton (Dustin).
Gerald began as a welder and later became Shop Supervisor with Red Wing Carriers, retiring after 40 years of service. He loved to work puzzles, word searches, and do woodcrafts and hunting. He volunteered for about 12 years at the Florida Strawberry Festival in the Livestock area.
The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm, Thursday, June 1, 2023, Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City, with a funeral service to follow at 12pm, noon.
His interment will be in Hopewell Memorial Gardens.
