Fred Arthur Gavin

Fred Arthur Gavin, age 93, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on September 6, 2020.

He was the son of the late Fred and Rose Hassing Gavin, Fred is also preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years; Alene Gavin, second wife of 11 years; Polly Bowdoin Gavin, siblings; Josephine Harrell, Evelyn Adler, and William Gavin.

Survivors include children; Dennis (Barbara) Gavin, Debbie (Danny) Cribbs, Patrick Gavin, sister; Donna Ashley, grandchildren; Kerri (Matt) Hall, Deanna Gavin Wilson, Michael (Alissa) Cribbs, Joshua Gavin, Stephanie (Ben) Dawson, nine great children with one more on the way.

Fred was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. Fred was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Dover First Baptist Church since 1986. He loved woodworking and traveling the world. Fred came form a pioneer family that settled in Dover. He was an avid Airstreamer and a member of Top of Georgia Airstream Park for 45 years.

Funeral Services will be held privately.
