Faith Alderman Obituary

Faith Jocelyn Alderman, a beacon of kindness and gentleness, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Plant City, Florida. Born on January 22, 1938, in Tampa, Florida, Faith's life was a testament to love, and the simple joys that make a life well-lived.

She grew into a woman whose gentle presence could calm any storm, her life a reflection of the values she held dear. She met and married the love of her life, Ronnie Charles Alderman, and together they built a family grounded in love and mutual respect. Her husband's passing left Faith with cherished memories and a legacy of love that she continued to nurture throughout her life.

As a mother, Faith was a guiding light for her children, Daniel (and wife Mitzi) Williams, Kenneth Williams, Terry Williams, and Lori Killingsworth. She instilled in them the importance of compassion and the value of a kind word. Her sister Carolyn Merritt, along with her late brother Tommy Cribbs, and sisters Sharon Kay and Sandra Gayl, shared in the joys and sorrows of life, always bound by the strength of family.

Faith's love extended to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she shared her passions for reading and gardening. Her eyes would light up with stories, whether from the pages of a book or the beauty of a blooming garden. It was in these moments that her family saw the joy that simple pleasures brought to her life.

Her four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild will carry forward Faith's legacy. They are the branches of a tree firmly rooted in the love and kindness that Faith exemplified every day of her life.

Faith's impact on the world was like the quiet but steady growth of the plants she so lovingly tended in her garden. She nurtured those around her with a gentle word, a loving embrace, and a patient ear. Her life was a series of moments woven together by the love she gave freely and the grace with which she moved through the world.

As we say goodbye to Faith Jocelyn Alderman, we celebrate a life that was truly a gift to all who knew her. She was a woman of unwavering kindness, whose love knew no bounds and whose gentle spirit will be deeply missed. In her memory, we hold close the values she cherished and the love she shared, knowing that her spirit will live on in the hearts of her beloved family and friends. Faith's journey on earth has ended, but her story continues through the lives of those she touched, a timeless tale of love's enduring power.
