He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Chevalier, but his legacy continues through his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Carol Chevalier, and their children: Denise Perretti, Derek Chevalier, James Hofner II, Lisa Pilon, and Scott Hofner. Dwaine was also the proud patriarch of seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of generosity and compassion.
