Born on October 11, 1937, in Springfield, Vermont, to the late Edward Chevalier and Jacqueline Rumrill, Dwaine's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and kindness.

He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Chevalier, but his legacy continues through his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Carol Chevalier, and their children: Denise Perretti, Derek Chevalier, James Hofner II, Lisa Pilon, and Scott Hofner. Dwaine was also the proud patriarch of seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of generosity and compassion.

Dwaine's professional life was marked by his dedication and leadership as the Vice President and General Manager in the moving industry. His colleagues respected him for his fairness and his unwavering commitment to excellence. He was not only a mentor to many but also a friend to all within his professional circle.
