Dovie Carter Obituary

Dovie Jewel Carter, age 96, of Tampa, FL passed away on August 18, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen McWaters Ross.

Survivors include sister, Dessie Mahoney, five grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren. Dovie was preceded in death by her husbands Emmett Carter, and David Jordan, children, Buddy Jordan, and Gloria Faye Raymond, siblings, Clyde Ross, Clarence Ross, Calton Ross, Vertie Stricklen, Clinton Ross, Frances O’Donnell.

Dovie was a member of The Fowler Avenue Baptist Church in Temple
Terrace. Services will be held privately. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.haught.care.
