Donna Watson, a vibrant soul cherished by her family and friends, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 73 in Lakeland, FL. Born on May 12, 1951, in Plant City, FL, Donna's life was a testament to the joy and beauty she found in the world around her.
Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Buddy Halfcock and Evelyn Goss. She was a loving mother to her daughter, the late Sophia Gevo. Her legacy continues through her two adoring grandchildren, Darien and Chelsey, and her six great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter to her later years. Donna was a sister to two brothers, sharing a lifetime of memories with her surviving brother, who will miss her dearly.
Known for her love of life and her impeccable sense of style, Donna had a flair for decorating, making every holiday a magical occasion with her creative touch. She believed in the power of self-care, often pampering herself and embracing the sparkle of life, as she loved to accessorize with a bit of bling. Her radiant smile and generous spirit were as bright and captivating as the jewelry she so adored.
Donna's presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt. As the well-known quote by Leo Buscaglia reminds us, "The life and love we create is the life and love we live." Donna lived a life full of love, and the beauty of her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we bid farewell to Donna Watson, we celebrate the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering love for her family will be cherished memories that will comfort us as we navigate the world without her. Though she has departed from this earthly journey, the light of her love shines on, guiding us through the days ahead.
