Donna Marie Cole, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, in her hometown of Plant City, Florida. Born on January 1, 1950, in the same close-knit community, Donna's life was a testament to the enduring power of familial bonds and the simple joys that come from a life well-lived.
Donna's early years in Plant City were filled with the laughter and camaraderie of a large and loving family. She was a cherished sister to her brothers, William Felton Young, Rex Belcher, Allen Maurice Dearhart, Anthony Earl Dearhart, and her sister, Brenda Claudette Hutchinson. The ties of kinship were a guiding force throughout her life, and the values instilled in her during those formative years were reflected in the way she nurtured her own family.
As a devoted mother to her daughters, Elishia Manis, Teresa Manis, and Melissa Mattair, Donna imparted the virtues of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Her guidance and support helped shape her daughters into the remarkable women they are today. The legacy of her nurturing spirit lives on through her three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life and her pride and joy.
Professionally, Donna dedicated many years to Paradise Fruit, where she excelled as a supervisor. Her colleagues respected her for her work ethic and her ability to lead with both firmness and compassion. Donna's influence extended beyond her professional life as she engaged with her community, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
A woman of many interests, Donna found great pleasure in antique shopping. Each piece she collected had a story, and she delighted in discovering the history behind these treasures. Her passion for antiques was just one of the many ways she connected with people, sharing stories and creating memories.
Donna will be remembered as a woman who lived her life with a loving heart and a kind soul. Her thoughtful nature touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression that will not be forgotten. As we bid farewell to Donna Marie Cole, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Her spirit will forever be cherished and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
