A faithful attendee of Mt. Zion Assembly of God, Donnie's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as spending time with his family, tinkering in his shop, building trailers, grills and serving up Big D's BBQ. Donnie's BBQs were a highlight for his friends and family, filled with laughter, good food, and memorable stories. His love for fishing was not just a hobby, but a testament to his patience (because he didn't catch very many fish), and his love for spending time with his family.

His love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, from his dedicated work to his time spent creating beautiful memories with them.

He will be remembered not only for his achievements and skills but more importantly, for his character and the love he shared with those around him.
