Dolores Beverly Konior, a loving and cherished woman, passed away on September 25, 2023, in Plant City, FL. at the age of 69, after a 3-year battle with cancer. Born on May 2, 1954, in Rutland, VT, she was known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and boundless love for her family. She was affectionately known as Dee.
Dee was the daughter of the late Garth O. Parker Sr. and the late Emogene Mattison and was also the beloved stepdaughter of Eleanor A. Parker. She was the devoted partner of Stephen Dudley for 34 years. She leaves behind her two sons, Walter Scott Konior and his wife Jennifer, and Steven Paul Konior, and her three grandchildren Hannah, Gabriel, and Aspen. She was a beloved mother figure of Stephen Dudley's children - James Dudley, and Krista Escobar and her husband Matt, and their six children. She also leaves behind her brother Garth O. Parker Jr. and his wife Ruth, and her sisters Jo Ann Bruce and Grace Parker.
As teenager, she relocated to Connecticut from Vermont with her family, graduating from East Hampton High School, class of 1972. In her professional life, she had a talent for organization and management, working as a retail manager at numerous stores including Kabachnick clothing store, Lerner Women, and Ames Dept. Stores, where she worked as a jewelry buyer. 35 years ago, she moved to Plant City, Florida, becoming an Inventory Control Specialist for Roberds, Inc., and a Logistics Specialist for Rooms to Go Furniture. In 2010, she decided to change careers entirely, go back to school, and become a Pharmacy Technician at Welldyne Pharmaceuticals, where she worked with dedication until the week she passed.
Her kindness and thoughtfulness were the hallmarks of her character, making her a beacon of love and warmth in the lives of those she touched. Dee was a woman who lived her life fully, with an open heart and a generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and a family who will continue to honor her memory by living out the values she held dear.
