HUNLEY (HOPPER), David Clair, Sr, 11/15/1941 - 2/26/2021
David was a longtime resident of Plant City, FL. He passed on February 26, 2021. Born in Middlesboro, KY on November 15, 1941, David was a Florida transplant since he left the Air Force in in 1966. He was of Baptist faith. David was a Vietnam era veteran serving in 1960-1966 as an AIR RESCUE MEDIC in Tripoli, Libya. He was a small business owner and retired from Dave's Pest Management after many years with wonderful clientele. He is survived by his wife Brenda and his much-cherished children David Hunley, Jr (Rhonda), Jill Parker (Daniel), and Kathy Best (Kevin). His three children were the constant sparkle in his life. Much appreciation goes to Kathy and Kevin for opening their home and lovingly caring for David during the past few years. David also leaves behind eight wonderful grandchildren (Jake, Luke, Abby, Wyatt, Emma, Aidan, Gus, and Arwen), three great grandchildren (Charlotte, Blair, and Harrison), and many loved and caring friends who meant very much to him. David will be laid to rest with military honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at a later date due to the coronavirus pandemic.
