Daniel DeSchoolmeester Obituary

We gather here today, hearts heavy yet filled with gratitude, to celebrate the life and legacy of a true servant of the Lord, Daniel David DeSchoolmeester. Born on the third of June in the year of our Lord nineteen fifty-four, in the bustling city of Rochester, New York, Daniel was a man of the Lord's light, a testament to His grace.

Daniel was called home to be with the Lord on the fourth of June in the year two thousand and twenty-five, in the warm embrace of Plant City, Florida. His departure from this earth leaves a void in our hearts, yet we rejoice, knowing he walks with our Savior.

Daniel's life began as a seed planted in the fertile soil of Rochester, nurtured by the love of family and community. His journey led him to the love of his life, Cynthia, and together they embarked on a partnership of love and faith, united in holy matrimony on the eighteenth of November, nineteen seventy-two. Their union was blessed with two sons, Paul, with his wife Amber, and Michael, and later graced with the joy of grandchildren, Daniel and Annabelle.

A Godly man, Daniel was a devoted husband, an awesome friend, and a steadfast believer in the Word. He was skilled in teaching Bible studies, where his gentle spirit and profound wisdom touched many a soul. His presence was as a "gentle giant," sweet and tender, yet mighty in his faith and love.

Daniel's love for the Lord was as vast as the ocean, and like the waves that caress the shore, his love for the beach was a reflection of his love for God's creation. His dedication to studying the Bible was unyielding, a passion that guided him through life's turbulent seas.

Let us not forget Daniel's service to our nation, for he spent six years in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Dixie, a testament to his selflessness and commitment to a cause greater than oneself. His kind and considerate nature was evident in every aspect of his life, and his heart, ever willing to help, knew no bounds.

He was the embodiment of love, filled with faith and selflessness. To say that Daniel was loving is to speak a truth known to all who had the privilege to encounter him. His faith-filled life was a constant source of inspiration, a well from which many drew strength. He would help anyone with anything, a true servant in the Lord's army.

As we bid farewell to Daniel David DeSchoolmeester, let us carry forward the light he shone upon this world. May we embody his loving spirit, his faith-filled heart, and his selfless nature in our daily lives. Though his physical presence is no longer among us, his spirit lives on in the love he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the lives he touched.

Today, we commend Daniel to the Almighty's keeping, and we celebrate a life well-lived, a race well-run, and a faith well-kept. Go forth, Daniel, into the arms of our Lord, where peace and love eternal await.
