Clifton Howard Sr. Obituary

Clifton Ray Howard Sr., known endearingly as Clifton, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 76. Born on October 2, 1948, in Iuka, Mississippi, Clifton was a man who truly embodied the spirit of diligence and love throughout his life.

Clifton is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Linda Howard, his loving children, Renee Howard and Cliff Howard, his caring sister, Mabel Martin, and four cherished grandchildren, along with numerous friends and relatives who will deeply miss his handy and loving nature. Predeceased by his parents, Ben Howard and Letha Brown, and seven siblings, Clifton's memory is a testament to the enduring bonds of family.

An avid enthusiast of fishing and NASCAR, Clifton also took the greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished moments. As Robert Louis Stevenson once said, "Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant." Clifton's life was indeed a beautiful garden of seeds well planted, that will continue to grow in the hearts of those he touched.

Clifton's legacy is evident in the lives he shaped, the projects he completed with skillful hands, and the warmth and constancy of his affection. His departure leaves a void in the fabric of his family and community, but the memories he created will serve as a tapestry of comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Funeral services will be held privately by the family.
