Christopher Riddles

July 31, 1987 ~ September 2, 2023 (age 36) 36 Years Old

Christopher Michael "Riddles" Riddles, a man who loved life, laughter, and a good can of hairspray, has swapped his earthly garage for a heavenly one. Born in Tampa, Florida on July 31, 1987, he revved his last engine in Plant City, Florida on September 2, 2023.

Riddles was a true "gearhead" through and through. Whether it was a car, a dirt bike, or anything with a motor, he was all over it like white on rice. As a residential handyman, he brought the same passion to fixing leaky faucets as he did to tuning a carburetor. Not a single loose screw or misfiring spark plug was safe from his expert touch. It's said he could coax a purr out of a lawnmower and make a washing machine hum the national anthem.

Born to Michael Riddles and Tami Hall, Riddles was the kind of guy who made every family get-together feel like a party. His brother, Jessy Riddles, and sister-in-law, Kasey Riddles, often found themselves the victims of his good-natured ribbing. His cousin, Amanda Riddle, will no doubt miss his infectious laughter and the way he could turn any situation into a punchline.

Riddles was a man of many passions. Besides his love for all things motorized, he was also a hopeless romantic. He loved nothing more than sweeping a lady off her feet with his charm, his wit, and yes, his meticulously styled hair. The man loved his hairspray. We're talking cans of the stuff. His hair was his crowning glory, always perfectly coiffed, and as immovable as a statue. It's rumored that even a category 5 hurricane couldn't mess up that hairdo.

As a lover of life, Riddles was always optimistic. He saw the glass not just half full, but overflowing with opportunity and potential. His laughter was infectious, his spirit was indomitable, and his humor was as dry as a martini. In the words of the great Robin Williams, "You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." Riddles carried that spark, and he used it to light up the world around him.

In remembering Riddles, we remember a man who lived his life to the fullest, who loved deeply and laughed heartily. He was a beacon of positivity, a wellspring of joy, and a source of laughter for all who knew him. He was a loving son, a caring brother, a devoted cousin, and a friend to many.

To quote the legendary Bob Hope, "I feel very old when I realize that I can remember when running water was a rumor." Riddles, we're sure you're somewhere up there, hairspray in one hand, wrench in the other, making sure the heavenly engines purr just right and the celestial plumbing is up to code.

Christopher Michael "Riddles" Riddles, may your laughter echo through the ages, may your spirit continue to inspire, and may your legacy forever remind us to love, laugh, and keep our motors running. You will be missed, but your memory will continue to bring smiles to our faces. Here's to you, Riddles, the man, the myth, the legend. Keep on revving. The family will receive friends Friday September 15 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Haught Funeral Home 708 West Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd Plant City, Fl. 33563 and a funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
