Christopher Michael Houser, affectionately known by all as Chris, was born on January 2nd, 1974, in the sunny city of Tampa, FL. He passed away on August 15th, 2023, in his beloved hometown of Plant City, FL.

Chris was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his doting parents, William Michael Houser and Sharon Gilbert Houser, who cherished their time with him. His brother, Ryan Houser, and sister, Shayne Parra and her husband, Raymond Jr, remember him fondly as a supportive and loving sibling.

Chris was a loving father to five wonderful children: Ashley, Amber, Christopher Jr and his wife Emilee, Devin William, and Kyle Houser. His children remember him as a beacon of love and humor, always willing to share a laugh or lend a helping hand. His love extended to his grandchildren: Lucas, Jordan, Bella, Antonio, Ella Houser, Madeline Houser, Alice Houser, and Isaiah Houser, who remember their grandfather with affection and joy.

Chris also left behind his cherished nieces and nephew, Adriana Parra, Elias Parra, Isolina Parra, who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Chris was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in the rhythm of nature, spending countless hours fishing and boating, embracing the tranquility of the open water. His love for the outdoors was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends. Known for his selfless nature, Chris was the kind of man who would quite literally give you the shirt off his back. He was a pillar of his community, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a warm smile.

Chris was a man of many words, but his actions spoke volumes about his character. His selfless, loving, and funny nature made him a joy to be around, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In the words of the great Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Chris embodied this sentiment, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met through his kindness and generosity. The family will receive friends for a Visitation Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Haught Funeral Home 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd Plant City FL 33563. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM.
