Christine Shafer-Houck, 92 of Plant City passed away October 22, 2018.
Born in Elmira, New York, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Karin Seaberg Nelson.
Survivors include her husband, John Houck; children, Eugene Shafer, Karin Roger, Barry Shafer; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
Christine was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Plant City. She was a peer counselor for those who had lost their sight and enjoyed gardening, crafts, bingo and singing at church.
A Celebration of Christine’s life will be at 1pm, Sunday, November 11, 2018, Grace United Methodist Church, 1801 East Cherry Street, Plant City.
