Carolyn Sue Galloway Young, 79, of Plant City, went to sleep on March 22, 2025, in the arms of her husband, Jim, and woke up in the arms of Jesus. She was born in Bloomington, Illinois on February 11, 1946. She was predeceased by her parents, Bueard and Nancy Spivey Galloway, brothers Harry, Robert, Rudy and Bill and sister Marice. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 38 years, James "Jim" Young, sons James "Jimmy" Eardley (Thongmuan) and Jon Eardley (Zandra); daughters Adrienne Ramsey, Ashley Ulmer and Ainsley (Ricardo) Nobara; grandchildren Hailley Bell, Andy and Marlee Davis, Aleida and Vivien Nobara, Elijah Ramsey, and Oliver and Ada Ulmer. She also leaves behind beloved niece and family, Jenny, Brian, Jack and Amanda Lemnus. Her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews will greatly miss her.
Carolyn loved the Lord, her precious family, her church family at Shiloh Baptist, and her CountryWood friends. She and Jim enjoyed growing businesses and cruising the Caribbean. She adored Plant City, her home for over a quarter of a century. Carolyn will be remembered for her gorgeous smile, positive spirit, joke telling and pure heart of gold for everyone.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 905 W. Terrace Drive, Plant City, FL. Visitation at 3:00 PM and Service at 4:00 PM.
