Mr C. W. Dukes

On March 4th, 2023, at the age of 86, C.W. Dukes, went home to be with Jesus.
Born in Opp, Alabama in 1937, he and his parents moved to Dover in 1946, where his parents became strawberry farmers. At the age of 15, C.W., found the love-of-his-life, Betty.
Together, they built a life around faith and family.
He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Dover and was beloved for his home-visits with anyone who needed some cheering up. Professionally, C.W. enjoyed a long and successful career of 37 years at Tampa Electric.
He is preceded in death, by his dad, Lushin, mom, Allie Mae, and son, Steve. He is survived by the love of his life, wife of 66 years, Betty; his daughter, Tammy; and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His whole life, C.W. loved his family and worked hard to provide.
Poppa, we love you and will miss your strength, loyalty and honesty.
Your commitment to your family is a legacy that will bear fruit for generations.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any memorial contributions be made to "Tyndale Christian Academy".
