Brenda Tapley Obituary

Brenda Lea Tapley, born on September 21, 1966, in Tampa, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2026, in the city she called home throughout her life.

Brenda was a loving woman whose presence brought warmth, steadiness, and kindness to those around her. She lived her life with grace and devotion to her family, and she will be remembered for the care she gave so freely to others. Her gentle spirit, her faithful heart, and her loving nature touched the lives of many and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She was the daughter of the late Edward Blount and Joann Westbrook. Brenda was also predeceased by her brother, Richard Blount. She is survived by her husband, Steven Tapley; her children, Steven A. Tapley Jr., Christina (Jamie) Reyes, and Anneka (Daniel) Harding; her brothers, Johnny Blount and Phillip Blount; and her six grandchildren, who brought her great joy and pride. Her family was the center of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Brenda worked as an office administrator in the medical field, where she was known for her dependable nature and her willingness to help others. She carried herself with professionalism and care, and her work reflected the same compassion that she showed in her personal life. Those who worked alongside her will remember her as someone who could be counted on and who brought a calm and caring presence to the workplace.

A faithful member of the Church of God, Brenda held her beliefs close to her heart and found strength and comfort in her faith. She was devoted to her church and valued the fellowship and spiritual guidance it provided. Her faith was an important part of who she was and shaped the way she lived each day.

Brenda especially cherished her grandchildren, and they were among the greatest joys of her life. She loved spending time with them and took great pride in being part of their lives. She was also known as an avid coffee drinker, a simple pleasure that reflected the comfort she found in life's everyday moments. Her family and friends will remember her for the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the many ways she made others feel cared for.

Brenda Lea Tapley will be remembered with love and affection by all who knew her. Her life was a testament to devotion, kindness, and family. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, brothers, extended family, and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to be cherished for years to come.
