Born on April 20, 1959, in Lebanon, Tennessee, Brenda was the cherished daughter of the late Billy Wallace Tenpenny and Betty Lois Curtis. Her life was a testament to the power of warmth and generosity, traits that defined her as a mother, sister, and friend.

Brenda's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald R. Adams, her sister, Susie Tenpenny, and her brother, Billy Tenpenny. Her legacy continues through her loving children, Catherine Crotts, Dolan Adams, and Colton Adams, as well as her brother, Bryan Tenpenny, and sister-in-law, Laura Tenpenny. Brenda's joy was multiplied by her five grandchildren, Logan Adams, Damond Crotts, Audrey Crotts, Britney Collogan, and Sieara Stewart, and eight great grandchildren who will carry her spirit forward.

Professionally, Brenda was known for her friendly demeanor and exceptional work ethic. She spent many years as a cashier in retail, touching the lives of those she served with her genuine care and attention. Brenda later became a manager at Red Lobster in Lakeland, where she was respected and admired for her leadership and ability to create a welcoming environment for both staff and customers alike.

Beyond her professional life, Brenda was an avid lover of arts and crafts, finding joy and solace in the act of creation. Her garden was a vibrant tapestry of colors and fragrances, a reflection of her love for beauty and growth.
