Beverly Jane Morris, affectionately known as B.J. to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, at the age of 61 in Plant City, Florida. Born on December 10, 1963, in Tampa, Florida, B.J. was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her.
B.J. was predeceased by her father, Michael Carney, and is survived by her loving mother, Earnestine Carney. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion with her husband of 20 years, whose companionship and support were the cornerstones of her happiness. Her daughter, Amanda Smith, was the apple of her eye, and she cherished every moment they spent together. B.J.'s joy was multiplied with the arrival of her granddaughter, Lily Nance, who brought an abundance of joy and laughter into her life.
She is also survived by her caring sisters, Carmella O'Steen, Kathy Wilson, and Darlene Percoco, who will remember her as the glue that bound the family together with her loving and kind nature.
B.J. dedicated many years of her life to her career as a sales representative at Digirad Imaging Solutions, where she was respected and admired for her professionalism and unwavering commitment to her clients and colleagues. Her work was not just a job but a testament to her passion for helping others and building lasting relationships.
Outside of her professional life, B.J. had a zest for life that was contagious. She loved going to the casino, where she shared laughter and good times with friends and family. Her dog Huck was her faithful companion, and their bond was a true reflection of her loving spirit.
Those who knew B.J. would describe her as the epitome of kindness and love. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel special and valued. Her warm smile and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
B.J.'s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, family, and friendship. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her loved ones. As we say goodbye to Beverly Jane Morris, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she left on this world. Her spirit will continue to inspire us every day.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM, at 780 Gerard Ave, Seffner, FL 33584.
