She and her husband, Mike Franklin, built a life together through dedication and shared purpose, including their work as owners of Franklin Carpet. Through that business and through the many relationships she formed along the way, Annette became known as someone dependable, hardworking, and sincere. She approached her responsibilities with determination and took pride in the life she helped create with her family. Annette found joy in the things that brought people together. She loved to fish and cook, and those interests reflected the way she lived her life. Whether she was preparing a meal for loved ones or enjoying a quiet day by the water, she found happiness in moments that were both peaceful and meaningful. Her cooking was an expression of care, and her time spent fishing reflected her appreciation for patience, nature, and the beauty of simple pleasures. Family was at the center of Annette's life, and she treasured each of her loved ones deeply. She is survived by her husband, Mike Franklin; her daughter, Shelly Franklin Barber; and her grandchildren, Tryston Barber, Skyler Barber, and Jayse Barber. She is also survived by her brother, Billy Simonds. The bonds she shared with her family were strong and enduring, and her love for them will remain a lasting source of comfort and remembrance. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burlington and Edith Simonds. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Renney Simonds, Leroy Simonds, Lewis Killian, Jane Morgan, Jack Killian, David Simonds, Johnnie Simonds, Ricky Simonds and Linda Bynum. Their memory remained an important part of her life, and she carried her family history with quiet dignity and love. Those who knew Annette will remember her as a woman of grace, honesty, and steadfast devotion. She had a way of making others feel welcome and cared for, and her presence left an impression that will not be forgotten. Her family and friends will remember her laughter, her strength, her cooking, and the many ways she showed love through action and example. The family will receive friends Thursday June 4th from 10:30am to 11:00am at the Haught Funeral Home 708 W Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. Plant City Fl where a funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
