Predeceased by his parents, Chester Arthur Tharp and Abbie Tomlin, as well as his beloved wife of 51 years, Evelyn Martin Thorpe, and his sons, Christopher Thorpe and Andrew Thorpe, Tom's memory will be forever held in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is survived by his adoring children, Wanda (Tim) Wygal, Dale (Cathy) Thorpe, Tonia Thorpe, Audrey (Kenny) VanHoose, Mabel (Danny) Thorpe-Miller, and Beverly (Jeff) Thorpe. His legacy continues to flourish through his twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the lessons of love and kindness he instilled in them.

Tom's life was characterized by his loving nature, a testament to the friendly and kind-hearted individual he was. Friends and family will be received Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd Plant City, FL 33563.
