Albert Jones Obituary

Albert Elton Jones, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on March 25, 1943, in Codwell, Georgia, Albert's life was a testament to the values of love, friendship, and dedication.

Albert was predeceased by his brother Max Lamar Jones but is lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Louise Jones, his children Anita JoAnn Jones and Keith Wild, his siblings James Carroll Jones and Wayne Vester Jones, as well as by his adored three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he nurtured each relationship with care and affection.

A proud veteran of the Navy, Albert carried the discipline and camaraderie of his service into his civilian life. He was an active member of AMVET, where he continued to serve his fellow veterans and their families. His commitment to community was further exemplified through his involvement with the Moose and Elks lodges in Zephyrhills, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed generously to their missions.

Albert's passion for antique cars often found him tinkering in the garage or attending car shows, where he would share stories and knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. Line dancing brought joy and laughter to his evenings, and his love for traveling was fulfilled through numerous adventures in his motorhome and on cruises with Louise and friends.

Those who knew Albert will remember him as a loving and friendly man, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. His presence was a comfort, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

In his leisure, Albert found solace in the words of Helen Keller: "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." This quote encapsulates Albert's approach to life, as he always prioritized the emotional bonds and experiences that brought richness to his days.

Albert Elton Jones's legacy is one of unwavering love, steadfast friendship, and a life joyfully lived. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us in the years to come.
