Adela's journey began as the cherished daughter of her hometown in Mexico, where she grew up surrounded by the vibrant culture and warmth of her community. Her youthful days were filled with joy and the blossoming of lifelong friendships. Adela's heart found its counterpart in Florencio Santa Maria, with whom she built a life founded on love and mutual respect. Their partnership was blessed with three wonderful children, Eseyna, Eneyda, and Jose Santa Maria, who were the center of her world.

As a matriarch, Adela was the embodiment of love and grace. She was a guiding light for her brother, Santos Benetiz, and an anchor for her fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her presence was a comforting embrace, and her legacy of kindness is a treasure that will live on in the hearts of her family.

Adela's life was marked by her unwavering faith, as she was a devoted attendee of St. Clement Catholic Church. Her spirituality was a source of strength and inspiration, not only to her but also to all who knew her. The Family will receive friends on March 26, 2024 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm at Haught Funeral Home, 708 West Dr. MLK Jr. blvd. Plant City, Fl. 33563. A Funeral Mass will take place on March 27, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Clement Catholic Church 1104 North Alexander Street Plant City, Fl. 33563.
