On June 9, 2021, Adam Kenneth Allmond, age 39, of Portland, OR, departed in Plant City, FL.
Adam was born on January 19, 1982, in Elkins Park, PA. He attended Central High School in Philadelphia and trained to become a nationally ranked gymnast before relocating to Phoenix, AZ, to earn a bachelor's degree in Art History at Arizona State University. He later earned a master's degree in Textile Design at Philadelphia University and went on to become a Materials Designer for Nike and purchase a house in Portland, OR. From a young age, Adam was passionate about environmentalism. As an adult, he became a talented artist and owner of many shoes. He was a proud citizen of the Upper Mattaponi Indian Tribe and was known for his outlandish and truly hilarious sense of humor.
Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Jean, and Alfred and Margaret. He is survived by his mother, Sharon; his father, Ernest; his siblings, Ernest, Andrew, April, Mark, and Brad; and his beloved dog, Walter.
A small, private memorial will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donating to the following charities:
