William Barfield, age 87, of passed away on December 11, 2017.
A native of Cairo, Georgia, he was the son of the late William and Goldie Proctor Barfield, he was also preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Hutcheson.
Survivors include his beloved wife: Jeana Barfield, Children: Sammy Kessel Barfield, Sonia Kaye Nelson 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
William was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Plant City, and worked as a public school teacher in Wakulla and Collier counties. After he retired from teaching he became a C.N.A. with Palm Gardens Nursing Center. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and singing.
Services will be held at a later date.
