Plant City, Fla. — Theresa Doar, 82, of Plant City, formerly from New London, passed away on October 27, 2017 after a long illness.
She was born in Norwich on July 1, 1935.
She was predeceased by her father, Lucius Tortora and her mother, Anna (Sabra) Tortora and her husband, William Doar.
She is survived by one brother, Lucius Tortora Jr.; two sons, Michael Tudisca of Plant City, Fla. and Santo Tudisca and his wife, Denise, of Enfield; four grandchildren, Tristan Tudisca of Colchester, Tennile Tudisca of Luzerne, Pa., Sarah Tudisca of Danielson and Jeffrey Tudisca and his wife, Angelica, of Oakdale; and several great-grandchildren.
She worked as a seamstress designing and making amazing wedding gowns and dresses. She also worked as an administrator for the City of New London for a number of years and worked as a secretary for Lotus of Huntington Beach, Calif.
