Stephen "Steve" Pendergrass

Stephen "Steve" Pendergrass, age 62, of Tampa/Plant City, FL passed away on December 2, 2019. A native of Plant City, Florida, he was the of son the late Ernest and Ida Pearl Pendergrass. Survivors include his wife Laura Pendergrass, children, Carlos (Hanh) Oviedo, Marco Oviedo, Patricia Pendergrass, sister, Diane Michaelis, grandchildren, Christian and Cruz Oveido. Steve was a chef at the Ramada Inn and Harry’s Place both in Plant City. He loved working at the food pantries at the local church. Steve loved football especially the Buccaneers. He loved reading, history, and loved literature. He also enjoyed Mexican food. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 905 West Terrace Drive, Plant City, FL 33563. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM If so desired a donation can be made to a local food pantry of the donors choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.haught.care.
