Ruthanne (Frost) Collins

Ruthanne Collins, 78, of Plant City passed away on February 27, 2019.

Born in Corbin, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Edna Frost.

Ruthanne is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Collins, Jr.; sons, David (Nancy), Keith (Sherry), Doug (Kimberly); eight grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Ruthanne and Charles were married on December 21, 1957, and after Charles completed his three years of military service, they began their family and welcomed three sons. Ruthanne devoted her life to raising and caring for her family.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she was a school teacher, active member of churches, and enjoyed her spare time making arts and crafts with her family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Monday, March 4, 2019, Haught Funeral Home, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City, with a funeral at Noon, Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
