Robert Lester Murray

Robert “Bob” Murray, age 74, of Plant City, FL passed away on May 21, 2019. A native of Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late Caulie and Hilda Christine Cail Murray. Survivors include, wife: Debbie Murray, son: Robert Murray Jr, Siblings: Glenda (Walt) Camp, Mary Crews, Mitchell(Kathy) Murray, Billy (Kathy) Murray, John (Cheryl) Murray. Bob was preceded in death by his brother Caulie Jackson Murray Jr. Robert was a member of the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, worked for Murray’s Truck Painting. Bob spent time as a professional wrestler where he was known as the “Scorpion” he enjoyed fishing. Bob served in the U.S. Army. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Plant City, FL 33563.
