Maxey Doerle Obituary
Maxey Joseph Doerle, age 98, of Dover, FL passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018.
A native of Maysville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Joe Doerle and Emma Schweickart.
Along with his parents, Maxey was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Anton Doerle and step-daughter, Joan Conner.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Esther Cowart Doerle; daughters, Lana (David) Fritz and Janice (Steve) Sturgill; step-sons, Gene (Betty) Cowart and John Cowart; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Maxey was a member of the Tollesboro Christian Church and was a volunteer fireman for the Tollesboro Fire Department. He served in the US Army during WWII and retired from Browning Manufacturing, Maysville, KY.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Haught Memorial Chapel. A service will follow at 3:00pm with Pastor Jay Lippy officiating.
Funeral Services and burial will be held in Maysville, KY.
