Marcia Strom Obituary
Marcia B. Strom, 85, loving wife and mother, passed away January 24, 2019.
Born in Lakewood, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Mossbruger Balazs. She was the wife of the late Kenneth J. Strom. Together, they raised their family on Lake Keystone, lived in Spring Hill, and most recently, Plant City.
Marcia was devoted to her family, daughters Sharon Horn (John), Valerie Richardson (Charlie), sons Dennis Strom (Donna) and Joseph Strom (Jennifer), nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also counted among the family were the many beloved dogs who shared their home throughout the years.
Marcia and Ken were married 55 years. They worked together and were active in the community, supporting each other while volunteering with Extension Homemakers, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Citrus Park Little League, and their churches. Among her many accomplishments, Marcia will always be remembered as an incredible cook.
There will be a Funeral Mass, 11am, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, St Clement Catholic Church, 1104 North Alexander Street, Plant City.
She will be laid to rest with her husband at Florida National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
