Louie Lowry Obituary
Louie Lowry, age 83, of Mulberry, FL passed away on September 9, 2019.
A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, he was the son of the late Buford and Beulah Lowry.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Lowry; children, Catherine Whitehead, Debra Lowry, and Peggy Sanderson; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Elaine English.
Louie was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was a country gospel singer, who sang at the Grand Ole Opry. He also was active in the Strawberry Festival and many other community outreach programs.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Plant City, FL 33563. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM
