Loretta Buchanan Obituary
Loretta Clare Buchanan, age 78, of Plant City, FL passed away on January 31, 2019.
Beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. A native of Trenton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary V. Szutarski.
Survivors include daughter, Dina Cowart; sister Evelyn McLean; grandchildren, Chelsie Thibault (David Laietta), Charlette Thibault, Katie Cowart, Noelle Cowart.
She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert “Terry” Buchanan.
She graduated from the all-girls Catholic High School, Cathedral High School, in 1958. In 1960 she was an Orchid Girl for the Trenton USO. After High School she attended Trenton Junior College School of Industrial Arts furthering her art education. She was an artist with Cybis Porcelain for many years. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and she was a former member of Plant City Art Guild. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church where she started the Bear Brigade.
The family will receive friends and family February 12, 2019 at Northside Baptist Church in Plant City from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Memorial Services will follow at 2:00pm.
