Lily Maxwell Obituary
Lily Bell Maxwell, age 94, of Plant City, FL passed away on June 5, 2019.
A native of Thomasville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Hattie Maulden Abbott.
Survivors include children Linda Goff, Barbara Keaton, Helen McCeldry, Billy Maxwell, Dennie Maxwell and Glenn Maxwell. Survivors also include sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and nineteen great-great- grandchildren.
Lily was preceded in death by her husband James Carlton Maxwell Sr and son James Carlton Maxwell Jr, and siblings Clarence Abbott, Van Abbott, James Abbott, Lacy Abbott, David Abbott and Winona Crozier.
Lily worked for Hillsborough County School Board and retired from Springhead Elementary School. She loved traveling, music, dancing, cooking and cherished her family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Youmans Praise and Worship Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.
