Kenneth Michael McCall, 59, passed away on October 12, 2017, at Melech Hospice House in Tampa, Florida.

Ken was born on November 15, 1957, in Clermont, Florida, to the late Gladys and Jack McCall.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Poff) McCall, siblings Charlotte Cucinitti, Dorothy Frazier, Stanley McCall, Jeff McCall, and Sandra Miranda.

He was preceded in death by his brother Lamar.

Ken served in the U.S. Air Force. Afterward, he worked for Delta Air Lines as a mechanic and retired from there. He later went on to work in sales with Aviatron. His travels took him to many parts of the U.S. and abroad, where he enjoyed playing whatever golf courses awaited. In addition, many of his happiest times were spent giving the fish a run for their money, as he was truly an avid fisherman. He even managed to snag a sailfish in the waters off Miami. Ken was also a rollercoaster enthusiast, and no coaster was too challenging for him.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Plant City, FL 33563. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 Magnolia Dr., Tampa, FL 33612.
