Helen Ward, age 90, made her flight to heaven on September 30, 2017.

Born July 5, 1927, in Plant City, Florida, to Fleet and Stella Barber, she attend Turkey Creek High School.

On December 17, 1948 she married James Elliot Ward. She had two children, Barbara Cross and Jimmy Ward.

Helen was known by many names: Mom, Nanny, Aunt Bibi, Secret Santa, and Mrs. Helen.

Helen will be remembered for her love of God, family, church, friends, and flowers.

We will all miss her quick wit, laughing eyes, dollars in cards, and sweet spirit.

She is loved and will be missed by many.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4th, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Countryside Baptist Church, 13422 Sydney Road, Dover, FL. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Rob Coram officiating. Interment to follow at Limona Cemetery, 1698 Limona Road, Brandon, FL.
