Chuck Durgey

Chuck Durgey, age 84, of Plant City, FL passed away on November 7, 2018. He was the son of the late Paul and Helen Sampson Durgey. Survivors include his wife: Kathryn Durgey, children: Timothy (Kimberly) Durgey, Diane Durgey, brother: Paul Durgey, six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Chuck was a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church, past President of the Optimist Club was a retired educator with Fayetteville Manlius High School after 34 years and St. Francis High School in Hawaii for 2 years. Coached baseball, football and golf. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed golf and living life. The family will receive friends Monday, November 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Plant City, FL 33563. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Clement Catholic Church, Plant City, with Marine Corps Honors.
