Charles Jerome Moranville, age 92, of Plant City, Fl. passed away peacefully on June 7, 2018 while surrounded by family.
A native of Perryville, Missouri, he was the son of the late Leo and Gertrude M. Tucker Moranville.
Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife Helen M. Moranville, and his siblings Bernadette Moranville, Thomas Moranville, and Genevieve Moranville. He is survived by his loving son Jeffrey (Kate) and his grandchildren Melissa and Joshua Moranville, his siblings Anna Marie Devenyns (the late Cliff), Rita Esselman (Gene), Robert Moranville (Gail), Richard Moranville (Margie), his sister-in-law Rowena Moranville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles attended St. Clement Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Loyola College of Baltimore. Charles retired as an accountant at Bendix Field Engineering and enjoyed many years of traveling the world with his wife, Helen. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an active volunteer with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Eldersburg, Maryland, and served in the U.S. Navy. Chuck was a person who always opened his door and his heart to anyone who needed him. He was the type of person God asks us to be, and he did it quietly, peacefully, and without fanfare.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at St. Clement Catholic Church at 2:00 PM. A burial service will take place at a later time in Maryland. If so desired, Donations in lieu of Flowers should be sent to the USF Byrd Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center.
