Carolyn Elizabeth (Glisson) Hackney

Carolyn Hackney, age 71, of Plant City, FL passed away on March 16, 2018. A native of Plant City, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Ellie and Georgia Grennay Glisson. Survivors include sisters: Barbara Barron, Loretta Escribano, Diane Kidd, Sharon Lowry, Geraldine Shipley. She was also preceded in death by her husband: James E. Hackney and her brother: Harvey Glisson. Carolyn was a member of the protestant faith. She enjoyed baby sitting and spending time with friends and family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Plant City, FL 33563. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM.
