Bettie L. (Holland) Boehm

Bettie Lou Boehm, 85, of Plant City, Florida and formerly of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, moved to her heavenly home on May 15, 2018 after a long illness. A wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great grandmother, she was loved and will be missed.

Bettie was born to the late John and Mary Holland of Murray KY on January 5, 1933. Bettie was blessed with a large and loving family of 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She married the love of her life, Edward Boehm, on February 16, 1952 in Grosse Pointe, MI. She was a mother, wife and homemaker who raised her five children with love and patience.

During her life, she touched the lives of all she knew. Her warm smile was one that all will remember. She was rarely seen without it. She was willing to help her friends and family in any way that she could. She was the glue that bonded her family together. She was the silent strength in the difficult times. She was the tender touch in times of pain.

She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she knew Jesus as her personal savior though faith alone in Him and that she now is with him in glory.

Bettie is survived by her husband, Edward; her children John Boehm (Lynn), and Bill Boehm (Cathy), Christie Kelly, Sandi Hangauer (Don, dec.), and Sherry McDaniel (Jeff); her grandchildren Bill Kelly, Sean Kelly, Robert Boehm, Thomas Boehm, Jessica Zajac, Stephanie Polinski, Erica Hashier, Ben Boehm, Adam McDaniel and Justin McDaniel. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Holland, her sister, Bobbie Lee Holland, and her brother Gerald Holland.

There will be a memorial service at a later date in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice Care.
